As the Broker and Owner of The Real Estate Network, I am proud to be associated with so many experienced, caring Realtors. They are what make this company so successful.
I moved here in 1989 from the East Coast and began working as a real estate assistant in 1990. I received my license in 1991 and have enjoyed building my real estate business and meeting so many interesting and diverse people. I attained my Graduate Realtor Certificate (GRI) in 1993, my Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS) in 1996 and my ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) in 2008. As the Broker of The Real Estate Network, I also hold the ABRM designation which awarded to Managers. In a effort to continually stay abreast of new and changing technology to benefit all clients, I have also completed my ePro certification and am in the process of updating that to the Web2 level. This is all done in order to serve the public to the highest level.
Before arriving in Colorado Springs, I lived in many other cities in the continental United States and also several areas abroad. At a young age I moved with my family to Kobe, Japan where I attended the Canadian Academy for seven years until graduation from high school. My years in Japan will always be a highlight of my life, and I think it is that time abroad that gave me a love of travel and meeting new people from all over the world. I continue to be in touch with many of the friends I met during those years, and these experiences will continue to be a treasure.
I returned to the US for college and after marriage became an Air Force Officer's wife which provided its own set of challenges. I have lived in England, Alabama, Hawaii, Missouri, California, New Jersey, etc., etc., etc. but always had a burning desire to live in the mountains of Colorado.
I have three grown and married sons, five grandchildren, and two very spoiled dachshunds who now run my life. The challenges of moving around, both as a child and as an adult, have well prepared me for the decisions and trials of relocating, both near and far. I love to help people find a house to make a home.
  
The Real Estate Network was founded to provide Brokers with a supportive environment to establish their own business and provide top quality service to their clients. It uses a byline of "The Caring Company" because the Brokers donate a percentage of each closed sale to the local Care and Share organization in Colorado Springs. Our intent is to be a source of support to anyone who may need some answers in real estate matters, whether it is buying or selling locally, finding a reputable Broker in another part of the country, or just answering a real estate related question. We have the resources to help in many areas.
The company has enjoyed the endorsement of many reputable members of the real estate community and continues to grow and expand.
