Who Can Sell My Home?

What do you think are the most important considerations in selling your home?   Is it the Realtor you choose, the condition of the market, the location, the price, the condition of the home?  Actually all of these things merit close consideration but, in my mind, a primary consideration should be finding a Realtor who will support you in your decisions and offer sound professional advice.

Your Realtor will be on the front lines of the transaction and he or she will be representing you.  You need someone with whom you have a good rapport and who will be available to you at all times.

Did you know that 95% of homes that sell are sold by another Realtor who sees your property on their local MLS?  It really doesn’t matter if the Realtor you choose comes from a company of over 100 other Brokers or 2 or 3.  Buyers are looking for houses, not Realtors.

Your Realtor should display good attention to detail in the pictures and descriptions of your home and its presentation to the public. There are lots of gimmicks out there but a good Realtor knows what works and how to get the job done.

Most importantly, once your have chosen a Realtor to represent you, trust their judgement and pay attention to their suggestions.  They are the professionals and are in the market every day, every minute.  They share ideas with other Realtors and work with other buyers and sellers.  They know what works and what doesn't.  So take advantage of their expertise.  When you and your Realtor partner together, you will have a winning team!
